SPOILER************ DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM*******

You NEVER see that in any studio release, only in a nasty, filthy film. Fucking brilliant moment, I loved the hell out of it. |

***** SPOILERS *****
Got around to see it yesterday, what an experience! Both movies are excellent, although I did like Planet Terror's over the top style a bit more. The small motorcycle ride is a classic in my book, and hats off for having the balls to do the Kid with a gun scene. And the trailers! "They chose the wrong Mexican to fuck with!!" |
Is this movie making money now with all its rave reviews from critics and moviegoers?

I finally got to see grindhouse last night, monday 5-01-07, really liked it maybe the best film this year. Rose McgGowen was great in planet terror.
One thing though i wonder how she could fire that gun. I think if there was a string or a chain attached to the trigger that she would have to "yank" on to fire the weapon would have been real nice and looked real cool on film. But besides that it was a great time. And based on boxoffice maybe the last time we expirience something like this, as far as double features go. |

Guess it's just too cool for the general public. Only the most devoted and demented film fans (like most of us here) know and love the source material that these two guys paid tribute to. Everyone else thought it was a bad idea. I'm just happy they got it made - it'll kill in DVD and be a true cult classic. |
Hey, at least the bad box office reception could possibly give it a DVD release quicker.
I seem to be the only one of the reviews I read that liked "Werewolf Women of the SS". I'd love to see film versions of all of the trailers though. Great movie. Does anyone know when "Machete" is supposed to be released? |
Grindhouse best movie i seen in long long time
Grindhouse rocked! 2 bad ass directors. I loved the whole experience. anyone know if dvd is gonna be same or seperate like I heard?
ps: im new to the forums so whats up everyone :D |
GRINDHOUSE, my new fav
I had the good fortune to see GRINDHOUSE at a drive-in (I had already taken it in at the local multiplex, 1st showing on opening day), and I must say the movie is more than just a movie, it truely is an experience. I am distugested with the way the public has responded to this amazing piece of sinema. I fear we may never see anything like it again, and that we may not even get to see it proberly on DVD. Of course, I'm talking about the decession to seperate the two movies and realse them again later. Like the film's star, Kurt Russell, I am just saddened beyond all words that many people may not get to see this the way it was meant to be seen, can you image SIN CITY or PULP FICTION re-edited and realsed seperatley  . Still, a lot of people never will see it anyhow, they already made their descions and that's why it tanked in the first place. If you didn't pay to see GRINDHOUSE in a theatre, just remember what you help cause by doing nothing the next time you bitch about the latest tween-friendly horror remake.

Dammit, I want to see this movie on the big screen.....we just can't drive that far to see it. I can't believe they didn't release it anywhere around here. Completely unfair. Still have hope it will be released in the drive in, which is still a drive, but not quite as much of one.
