Back to the topic, I picked up Red Eye and it was pretty good. It's not very scary because it isnt a typical Wes Craven horror movie. Its a nice little thriller. Interesting story even though it seems a little far stretched. Is it really necessary to do all that? The acting was done well. Rachel McAdams is super hott and she is good in her movies. And it has enough suspense to keep you interested throughout the whole movie. There still should have been a little bit more action or evil motives by the villians so we can hate him more.. Its worth a look. I actually liked it better than Hostel which i saw Sunday.

The lady that was in it was in mean girls.........I love it. But is was alright I thought.

MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT
DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE YET. Red Eye was lame & predictable. If anyone thought for a second that the girl, her dad, or the diplomat was going to get killed, then they're retarded. There's no blood in the movie despite a guy getting a pen shoved into his neck and another getting hit by a car and smashed through the front of a house. Then when you take into consideration the utter lack of logic... Like why they even needed to get the diplomat to change hotel rooms in the first place if they were just planning on firing a rocket at his room anyways.... Or why the main girl didn't just start yelling for help once the plane landed instead of gettting stalked through the airport and not asking any of the multitudes of people for a hand... What about how this entire thing, including all conversations had between the two main characters takes place on a jam packed quiet night time flight, but everyone seems to have conveniently fallen asleep upon take off and not one single person overhears their conversation or notices anything's up... Did I mention that it basically has the exact same plot as Collateral? (Except you can replace the cab with an airplane.) This movie sucked ass. And so did Cursed (for whoever said that was good.) Cursed wasn't anything more than a Ginger Snaps knock off with the hip, young American cast. If you want a cool werewolf movie, then just get Ginger Snaps. Don't settle for a cheap imposter. Wes Craven needs to stop making movies for little kids and get back to the shit made him famous. |
this movie should be called "Brown eye".
it stinks worse than a dirty diaper. |
There is a Korean ghost film called Red Eye about a haunted train.
I'm sure it would make a far more positive thread :) |

Okay, okay, okay, okay:
1. So RED EYE was a lot of fun--I had a swell time. That said, I'm not about to crown it as one of my favorite movies in ANY genre. 2. Yay for space lobsters. 3. Yay for the WHAT LIES BENEATH plug: it's way underrated! Like, the critics freaked out because they thought the marketing campaign gave too much away--is that the movie's fault? I think not. 4. . . .there is no four. . . |
