Well, the thing is, I've seen VERY few zombie movies I couldn't watch. I like a lot of the bad ones. I liked "Oasis of the Zombies." Used to own that, before I threw it in the trash one day. But I want you to know that, before I threw it away, I loved that movie!
I have "Oasis of The Zombies" on dvd, good ole Eurotrash :D

Why did I throw it away? Well, I hated it by that time. But I want you to know that...that, before I hated the movie, which led to me eventually throwing it away, I LOVED it! I really did folks!

Too many zombie movies? Nah! As long as they are better than House of the Dead (argh!)...:D

AmericanManiac 10-12-2005 01:25 AM

Yes I agree my fiance bought me house of the dead I thought it was going to be a kick ass movie but they ruined it by putting the video game shots in it.

filmmaker2 10-12-2005 02:36 AM

I am a proud owner of House of the Dead and it is one of my favorite recent bad films. It is Oasis of the Zombies for the new milennium

Why are some people still needing more and more zombies?

Perhaps they're lacking that gene that deals with repetition, derivativity and boredom.

ENOUGH brains!

It was only until a few years ago that zombie films started to make a come back. Before that we had vampire films up to eyeballs. Eveything ebbs and flows and pretty soon zombie films will on the back burner and something else will re-emerge to take their place

I'm hoping for "Creature From the Black Lagoon"! LOL

Mummies have had their five minutes of resurrection, so did giant spiders a few years ago.

New creatures would be very hard to establish (the "Shadmock" from The Monster Club, anyone?) - it makes one wonder sometimes if all the good ideas really have already been taken.

To tie in with the remake debate, i would love to see a good modern day version of Them!. That was the film that started me off on the horror road when i was a wee nipper

PR3SSUR3 10-12-2005 10:03 AM

Those?

Them! was a 1950's B movie about giant ants ( the result of A-bomb testing ) who take up residence in the storm drains of downtown LA. Absolutely brilliant (the fact that i was seven or eight at the time probably helped!)

PR3SSUR3 10-12-2005 10:15 AM

ah... THAT Them!

>cough!<

:D

Giant mutated bugs could be the next big thing! In the recent years there has only been Mimic, Eight Legged Freaks, Starship Troopers, Arachnaphobia, The Fly and several others im sure i must have forgotten. No where near to being an exhaustive subject

AmericanManiac 10-13-2005 08:57 AM

Attack of the Giant Cocroachs (spelling).
