I'm laughing at him laughing to the point i thought my head was gonna blow up and i had started to pee lmao.

I have like millions of others, but that one just leaped out at me lol

Dude, Martin Lawrence is pretty damn funny. Blue Streak and Big Momma's House sucked balls but I was still laughin' like hell through both of em. The guy's just funny.

when people are making a comedy I don't think they're that concerned with making a masterpiece most of the time it's just ment to be funny so I think if you laugh at a movie then it's good.(if it's a comedy that is)

I agree, but I also don't think they're tryin' to make balls of shit either:D

good point. I guess you got me there, whenever someone makes a movie I'm sure they want it to be as good as possible no matter what genre it is and that obviously doesn't happen all the time.

I guess a good example would be As Good As It Gets, good story with no holes, good script and acting, overall a great movie(imo).

then you have big mamma's house which is exactly the opposite but still funny. Martin Lawrence is an ok actor though but he really didn't try to do anything but be goofy.

Mike Epps in Resident Evil Apocolypse

AUSTIN316426808 03-14-2005 01:55 AM

American Psycho

I find it absolutely hilarious when Bateman is ranting about the music he has playing.

urgeok 03-14-2005 06:16 AM

there is a movie about a play .. called 'noises off'

with michael cain and huge cast of others...
its pretty manic as things go wrong in a live production on stage ..

another one that had some funny moments was a marxs brothers takeoff with John Tutorro (as the groucho character)
and Mel Smith (i think) and a 3rd guy ...

cant remember the name but it was pretty funny in parts ...

yeah, thats it ..

there's a really funny ballet scene ....

Vodstok 03-14-2005 07:42 AM

I always liked the scene in Die Hard where the guy runs into the room, Bruce WIllis starts yelling at him to put the gun down, the guy keeps yelling back "DONT SHOOT!", then his buddy runs in, Bruce willis shoots him, the guy gets up on the table and is shooting at him and says "Next time you get a chance to shoot somebody, dont hesistate", then Bruce empties a clip into the guy's crotch through the table and says "Thanks for the advice."

AUSTIN316426808 03-14-2005 07:46 AM

I like the part where he sends Honz's brother down the elevator with the santa hat.

urgeok 03-14-2005 07:46 AM

i watched ariplane last night and although i didnt belly laugh like the first time - it was still funny as hell ..

there is one small thing that always gets me ..

this stewardess starts playing the guitar for a sick girl and when the music starts everyone smiles this sickly sweet smile - wherever they are,

people all lean into the scene to hear better .. and then this head appears from the top of the screen ..

gets me every time

AUSTIN316426808 03-14-2005 07:47 AM

and Die Hard with Vengance

Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis were funny as hell together.

Vodstok 03-14-2005 07:49 AM

The part that always kill sme there is right after they show all the poeple, she swings the head of the guitar, and there is a loud pop as the IV gets knocked out of the sick girl's arm.

Those movies are great.

One of the best parts in Airplane 2:
Ted is trying to talk Sonny Bono out of blowing up the airplane and says "No one needs to know about your problem. No one needs to know that you're impotent." Then he closes his eyes and snaps his fingers to say "Shit. it slipped"

I like how they played up the white black thing.

"You know how to hotwire a car?"
"Of course i do, I'm an electrician."
*Jams knife into ognition and strats car*
"The pronblem is, it takes to fucking long."

Always cracks me up. Samuel L Jackson is so fucking defensive in that movie.

Plus, Bruce Willis delivers one-liners in such a good way. half of his lines would be completely retarded coming from anyone else.

urgeok 03-14-2005 07:52 AM

Billy, do you like movies about gladiators ?

Have you ever been in a Turkish Bath Billy ?

had anyone else said those lines with a different delivery - they'd never had gotten away with it.

there was another goofy movie like this a long time ago .. called The Big Bus .. it had some airplane moments too ..

Vodstok 03-14-2005 08:01 AM

I saw that on tv when i was probably 10 :) It was a nuclear powered bus, and they had to fill the ass end with soda at one point to keep it from going off a cliff. that s about all i remember.

"Hey... Scraps is a boy dog...."
"grr......"

i love Peter Graves in those movies....

Greatest line ever:
"We have clearance Clarence."
"Roger Roger. What's our vector Victor?"

Second Runner up:
"So... I was over Unger, and you were under Dunn..."

urgeok 03-14-2005 08:10 AM

julie haggerty - blowing up the automatic pilot ... and its smiling ..

and to top it all off, they're both smoking later :)

AUSTIN316426808 03-14-2005 08:13 AM

anybody seen The Big Hit? now that was a funny as movie.

Vodstok 03-14-2005 08:16 AM

"A hospital? What is it?"
"It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now."

"Surely you cant be serious."
"I am serious. And dont call me Shirly."

"How long will it be until we can land?"
"I cant tell."
"You can tell me, I'm a doctor."

Leslie Neilsen in his finest performance.

urgeok 03-14-2005 08:17 AM

care for a non dairy creamer ?

i LOVE that movie !

Vodstok 03-14-2005 08:21 AM

It really pushed my cheese tolerance, but i always got kick out of Bokeem Woodbine's obsession with the newly discovered wonders of masterbation :)

Or when the boss is talking about his goddaughter getting kidnapped, and Lou Diamond Phillips is reacting to what he said, but acting like he is disgusted by what happened rather than scared shitless that he is going to be killed and he shouts "Oh Fuck!" and covers his face :)

when they're having the fight in the video store ...
and they both stop the fight because they saw his picture 'customer of the month' in the adult film section ... priceless.
i love filmmakers throwing stuff in like that

or the beginning :

wrong house again asshole ...

i pull into my neighbours driveway by mistake all the time .. its even funnier to me now

and there was that moron(can't remember his name) I like that part when they're setting up the trace buster that was funny.

and I thought it was hilarious how Mark Walberg was always nice even when he was in the middle of action scenes.

urgeok 03-14-2005 08:33 AM

the sequence where they are running down that treed hill being chased by the car was great action...

thats another movie filmed all around where i live by the way ..

tons of sets ..
places i had to avoid because streets were shut down (x-men)

I used to travel to work on a country road and in the summer you'd see film crews everywhere ..
Crews doing lighting .. trailers ..etc
I never got out to look though ... Its not what they appreciate..

Vodstok 03-14-2005 08:43 AM

The police academy movies have lost a lot of their luster over the years, but they still have some good moments.

"I told you, Mahoney. Nobody... NOBODY screws with me..."
"Well sir, maybe some day you'll meet the right girl, and all that will change."

ahhh well, the 1st one was funny ....

with the exception of the appearance of jennifer jones in a later sequal .. they were all horrible after that.

the closest thing america ever had to a 'Carry On' series really .. only the british do it better

Vodstok 03-14-2005 09:45 AM
