From What I heard, the next movie is supposed to be a prequel to the 1st NOES. Showing in much more detail how what Freddy did before he was killed. Whether or not they mention his daughter, I don't know. BUt that would be a key factor, would you agree?

i don't think they would make a jason v leatherface. for the simple fact it the movie would only last for 5 mins. jason would beat the living shit out of leather face. leather face comes across as some big dumb cry baby redneck. i don't know any uber villian who screams like a stuck pig when he gets a little cut on the leg by a chainsaw just doesn't impress me.

i agree. no matter how good the acting, the writing or the directing. if bruce cambell isn't ash. it's gonna suck.
