Yeah, I think I'm going to like this. First episode was solid.

Yeah, rub it in.....

Hard to tell if this is gonna be a hit show, but I'll definitely watch the next episode.

Again ::roll eyes::

Tried it but just couldn't get into it.

I'm running out of shows to watch cause of the season finales, I pretty much only watch Penny Dreadful and Game of Thrones.

darkdetective 06-09-2016 03:16 PM

Outcast was pretty impressive. Can't wait to watch the next episode.
It made me wanna go and read the comic it's based on.

RollinFan 06-09-2016 09:57 PM

Game of Thrones - caught an episode at relatives' house, not a fan
Penny Dreadful - watched the last two episodes today, so much for high hopes
Wire in the Blood
CSI - season one, episode one
Daria - season one, episode one
Hunters, Outcast, Bering Sea Gold, South of Hell downloaded and ready to watch this weekend

Chevalier 06-10-2016 01:11 AM

The Scream TV show from MTV is a decent show. It's almost on par with Bates Motel.

RollinFan 06-12-2016 03:11 AM

OK, I watched the first episode of "Outcast". It is like someone took the first five minutes of a "Supernatural" episode and stretched it to a full hour. I kept waiting for Sam and Dean to show up.
South of Hell - No. Just no. The bad reviews were right. Somebody watched 3 episodes of "The Originals" and said "no problem, I've got this."

My brother didn't like it either. It took me a little while to get into it, tbh. I love Penny Dreadful too.

Unsolved Mysteries, caught some episodes I hadn't seen before. And Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Spike. OMG. He's like Billy Idol in vampire form. ::love::

Freak 06-12-2016 08:41 PM

Catching up on some Game of Thrones right now.

Angra 06-14-2016 09:22 PM

Outcast, second episode

Far from as good as the pilot.

hammerfan 06-15-2016 01:42 AM

Game of Thrones

Dead Bad Things 06-17-2016 05:33 AM

Been catchin' up on a few episodes of Jerry Springer...
Here's a coupla sad brutal episodes I liked.....

The Jerry Springer Show: I'm not his cousin,I'm his Fiance (June 7 2016)
: Megabeast Unleashed (June 8 2016)
: Steamy Sister Sex (June 10 2016)
:Springer Break-Ups (June 15 2016)

Kitchen Nightmares

Gordon Ramsay is ::love::

RollinFan 06-20-2016 12:59 AM

Blunt Talk - awesome
Penny Dreadful - watched the season 3 finale, looked like series finale. Also looked like they started off planning for twelve episodes and found out after six were filmed that they would only have nine. Everything in the last three is just chopped off to wind up story lines. None of the story lines go anywhere, then it's over. If you haven't been watching this, don't bother starting.
Hunters - still hanging in there, still not sure why
Wrecked - watched episode one, good enough to try episode two
James May - The Reassembler - should be boring as hell, actually pretty good

Angra 06-21-2016 11:57 AM

Game of Thrones

What a battle. ::cool::

You don't like Hunters? I think it's great. I'm about to watch the most recent episode tonight.

RollinFan 06-23-2016 03:35 AM

Maybe it's just me, but Hunters seems too predictable, and it spends way too much time on flashbacks. Threshold covered the same ground, and to me, did a better job of it. Hunters has its moments, but overall it's a mess. It depends on if you're watching it for the plot or the effects. The effects are cool, the plot is not. It might be better if they just did each episode from the point of view of a different character, instead of all of these damn flashbacks giving every character's back story and stopping the plot for 15 minutes of a 40 minute episode. If you've seen season one of the French original of "The Returned" (les Revenants) you'll understand what I mean about switching point of view vs. flashbacks. If you haven't, go watch it. We'll wait right here. ::big grin::

Angra 06-27-2016 12:24 PM

Game of Thrones

Not one of the most climactic season endings, but seeing the star of "Klovn: the movie" in one minor scene was a blast and quite hilarious actually.

hammerfan 06-27-2016 01:16 PM

Game of Thrones
Penny Dreadful
Downton Abbey

I never saw Threshold but I heard of The Returned. They made an American version too I think. I never got around to seeing it yet as I wasn't sure which to watch first.

RollinFan 06-29-2016 10:40 PM

Watch the French original, the US remake is just as bad as all of the other US remakes. Plus the French series got a season 2 to tie up all of the loose ends. And it does. Sort of. ::confused:: The US version got cancelled, so no season 2 for us. The first season of Resurrection is good too, but the second sucks ass. Keep an eye out for Threshold, it's well worth watching, even if it only lasted 12 episodes.

hammerfan 06-30-2016 04:52 AM

Dead of Summer

Meh, it was OK. I'll watch another episode or two before making a final decision.

Baron Von Marlon 06-30-2016 02:17 PM

Wrecked
New r-rated comedy series about a group of people stranded on an island after a plane crash. Only seen two episodes but it's quite alright.
Couple of familiar faces including the main werewolf from What We Do In The Shadows.

RollinFan 07-04-2016 11:11 AM

Wrecked - I agree, it's good so far. Seen the first four.

Jay Leno's Garage - wanted to like it, didn't. It's awful

Dead of Summer - as soon as the plot starts to move, FLASHBACK. after the third flashback in 30 minutes I gave up.

Scream - The Series - watched episode one, good enough to keep watching

The Fades - watched episode one, definitely going to continue watching

The Sniffer - watched episode one, silly premise, but actually not a bad show

Hunters - one more episode to go, plot finally starting to move. If they had cut it down to six episodes by leaving out all of the flashbacks, this would have been a good show. I feel the same way about the Walking Dead. The first short season was good, the longer seasons are like wading through wet concrete.

Unexplained Mysteries, not as good as Unsolved Mysteries.

Wives with Knives.

hammerfan 07-07-2016 06:14 AM

Penny Dreadful

RollinFan 07-08-2016 10:49 PM

Finished watching The Fades. Pretty cool. Too bad there's no season 2. I like British TV, maybe I should break out the Hex box sets and rewatch them.

favabeans 07-08-2016 11:20 PM

True Detective (Season 1)

One of my all time favourites, god knows how many times I've seen it now.

Hunters -

Anyone that didn't start watching Hunters probably shouldn't now. It was cancelled. I watched the last episode and it was one of those characters and other things stop making sense and let's wrap it up on a bad cliffhanger type of finale episodes. Too bad, I actually liked the show up until that episode.

RollinFan 07-14-2016 03:39 AM

I actually liked the last episode of Hunters more than most of the others. No flashbacks for a change. On the other hand, the plot made no sense at all. It was like the last episode of Penny Dreadful. "Here's where we are. There's where we need to be at the end of the episode. Duct tape about 40 minutes of absolute crap together to connect the two."

cheebacheeba 07-16-2016 06:53 AM

I just got through the first episode of "Stranger Things" on netflix.
I won't say much about it - but I'd strongly recommend you guys take a look.
Very authentic throwback. Bits and pieces for everyone.
Watch it, Ok.

Seen 3 episodes and so far I love it.
It reminds of The Goonies but in an X-Files setting.

I feel like, if you haven't watched it by the time you read this - right after, you should just go watch it.

Bones (my favorite tv show)

I haven't been catching up with it recently, so I'm glad I had time to do that.
