It's much, much darker than The Evil Deads. No humor as far as I can remember.

And it's more like zombies than demons.

Check it out.

It's a fucking blast dude. The R4 DVD is cheap too. The plots a bit of a mess but got some awesome scenes.

Agree. I love that Acid bath & Tarantula attack scenes. Brilliant!:)

That Tarantula scene makes me CRINGE. I'm not a fan of big spiders at all. I blame the Alien movies :D

I saw some old black and white movie with a giant spider chasing after a couple in it...just can't remember anything else about it.

C'mon people....it's gots to be 28 Days Later.....really

sure The Frightners was good...great story with some nice humor tossed in, and the always good Jeffrey Combs...but it wasn't anything we haven't seen before.


Dagon had a great story but didn't follow through and was a bit of a disappointment...you all know it...it could have been so much better.

28 Days Later came along and was a much needed shot in the arm for the genre. It put a whole new spin and caused quite the heated exchange in HDC as to "What's a Zombie Movie".

My vote is for ...28 DAYS LATER
