I am getting so excited about my big move to Vegas! I have everything ready to go and now I am just impatiently waiting for May 5th to board the Greyhound and leave this hellhole behind once and for all.

First off hit up yer local library. This increases demand for horror in the public square...H.P. Lovecraft, R. Matheson, fer some old timey creeps...Del Howison, Ellen Datlow, Lori Perkins, and Paula Guran have some good anthologies...Early S.King is always a good bet.

I will be sure to hit up a dispensary since weed is legal there now. When I was there a few years ago only medical was legal and I got more baked than I ever have lol

I always have so many thoughts running through my head 24/7. Here are a few I have right now:

1) Wondering if I should spend the money my Nana is giving me for my upcoming birthday on new movies or new video games.

2) Wishing that my mom would leave her sociopathic crackhead of a husband, or better yet wishing that he would just drop dead.

3) Wondering about the future of my country and how our newly elected leader who I absolutely despise will affect me.

4) Thinking about how much I really want to go to the beach before we end up moving away.

5) Thinking about the fact that my brother and his girlfriend are having their first baby and how I am going to be an uncle.

I wanted to go to Burning Man this summer since its only a few hours from Vegas but since its commercialized now its $700 and up for a ticket and $200 and up to camp out there, fuck that shit!

::big grin:: Same here, I promised myself a long time ago that I was never going to get married and have children because these days it seems so pointless. I can't think of anyone I know who hasn't cheated, been cheated on, screws around because they don't care, or been divorced at least once. It seems like only the people from my grandparents generation ever get serious about their spouses because back in their day people took marriage a lot more seriously.

The days of getting a woman by being a good nice guy are over. Now people are just shallow and materialistic. Some could even be called vindictive and sadistic, but thank goodness there aren't any women like that here... *cough*

Or masochistic, like my Mom who constantly puts herself in a bad relationship...

Did people ever really have virtues to begin with? I mean every generation has had it's selfish problems even if they were all different from the ones we have now. Like how back in the day people tolerated things like slavery and cruel punishments (such as burning people alive).
