Dirty Harry

I lost count of how many times I've seen it about 10 years ago.

Leprechaun 3

Warwick Davis in Las Vegas. The gore was better than the first two Lep. movies. The acting was mediocre. The plot was average. But one thing I'll never figure out is why in the first Leprechaun movie he has to polish every shoe he sees (That plays in to the end of the movie a bit if I remember correctly.) and in the sequels he doesn't. Anyways, it's better than Leprechaun 2. It's probably right about on par with the first one, but slightly more enjoyable due to more cheesy humor startnig to creep in to the franchise.

The Revolting Dead. If anyone reading this is considering renting or (god forbid) buying this, do yourself a favor and skip it. It was terrible. The "actors" sounded like they were speaking from the inside of a coffee can. It's very rare for me to turn off a movie before it's over, but I just couldn't tolerate this one.

Pink Panther Strikes Again

I lost count of how many times I had to pause this cause I was laughing so hard. Not as good as Shot in the Dark though.

Then I watched the last bit of the new made-for-TV Terry Fox movie. What I saw was VERY good, I would like to see the rest. Definatly a Canadian hero.

You didn't like Invincible!? Too bad.

Anyway, I just picked up the tenth anniversary edition of Casino. Just as good as I remembered.

Crash. Not quite as good as the Cronenberg film of the same title, but still quite good cinema. The blurb on the jacket is actually truthful this time. It really is the best American film since Mystic River.

Marroe 09-18-2005 11:47 PM

Sin City. It's just as good the 2nd time.

I saw Robots.
Quite good...I mean, I'm seldom thrilled by a movie of this kind, but it was very nice to look at, the "city" was very cleverly done, it was funny too.
Overall 7/10.

newb 09-19-2005 09:03 AM

The Longest Yard....i liked the original better.....Sandler was not believable as a pro quarterback and talk about product placement......Mickey D's must have a bundle invested in this one.
