Yeah as soon as I read the summary I could see why it didn't make it with its audience. I was watching it with my girlfriend and we're both ''Huh. Doesn't this scene seem familiar...'' Seriously though, WHY take the plot of a movie that was fail, and try to remake it with only SLIGHTLY different characters? It accomplished nothing.

Howling VI: The Freaks
((another ''comment as I watch'' cause I apparently have nothing better to do))

In the first scene of dialogue I saw a boom mic and an actress stumbled over her lines. ...Yeeaaaahhhh that's a good sign.

*and then Antonio Fargas* Or maybe I'm jumping the gun a little bit. The guy who owns the freak show is named 'Harker'. That's not at allllll suspicious.

Oh PLEASE tell me that's not the full transformation... son of a BITCH. That doesn't look at all like the other werewolves in the series! Them feet though.

BOOM MIC
i see one more and i'm declaring it a drinking game

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying the werewolf character. He has a very Bruce Banner vibe to him. Just wish the face didn't look like a caveman. ...OH GOD NO NOT THE CAT please don't eat Winston please don't eat winston pleaese dont eat winston YES. This werewolf is animal friendly. ugly as sin but animal friendly

Sheriff gonna get dead isn' 'e. Called it. Oh suuure let's blame the werewolf for the dead cop even though he's locked up and getting stabbed.

Fucking carnie killed the cat well shit.

Couch is a coffin. That's actually really damn clever. Lol, the vampire bit him in the belly. They could've upped the effects on the werewolf, but instead decided to make the vampire look weird too. What the balls.

Go preacher man! YOU HAVE BEEN AVENGED, WINSTON

Glad one of you carnies isn't a complete moron. Werewolf vs Vampire time. Like there's any question who'll win.

That was actually a pretty entertaining death.

Don't be dead Winston the first. Ian needs his buddy. Why are you walking instead of taking a vehicle I don't understand...

Well this was an odd flick. I've seen worse come out of the Howling franchise anyway.

And with that I only have 2 Howling films to watch before I can say I seen them all. I and IV are two of my very favorite movies. You'd think I would've gotten around to watching them all by now.

I Spit on Your Grave (2010)

Definitely one of the most disturbing movies I've seen in quite a while. It's pretty dull throughout the first half of the movie, and there's not much of a story, but man was the revenge fucking brutal.... I think the new Last House on the Left did the rape and revenge thing a lot better (it's one of my favorite remakes), but I Spit on Your Grave is still okay if you like these sorts of movies and don't really care about a plot. If you're looking for a visceral, intense, and memorable revenge flick though, I advice you to look somewhere else.

Incendies (2010)

http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p...psdaqmrzvj.jpg

During reading of the will, a twin brother and sister learn of some unusual last wishes of their recently passed mother. Amongst the requests, two envelopes need to be delivered to respectively the father of the two and a brother whom are both unknown to them. Soon the twins embark on a quest that will gradually reveal not only their mother's horrific past but also going to uncover a disturbing truth that should have better left unknown!

I was looking forward to see this 2011 Oscar nominated flick after reading plenty of positive things about it with high recommendation. Anyway, lately finally checked it out and found it really amazing. Yeah...it's one of those kind of movies which at the end will make you so emotionally drained & devastated with a shock so eerie & powerful that will stay in your mind for a long time.

Highly recommended.

"The Creepy Doll" 2/10

So apparently a suburb family have dicided to make a movie, on a budget consisting of what they could find from under their couch. Yay. ::roll eyes::

To be fair I thought the acting was fairly decent, but none of the actors involved looked like actors as much as they looked like ordinary plain people. And the lead actress... my God, woman. The 70's called. It wants its God awful hairdo back. Then there's the weird camera work. I don't really blame the camera guy as much as the directors sick fetish with having the actors looking at the camera while talking. Don't... just don't. ::sad::

And now to the story. A newlywed couple moves in together.... WHAT?? Must be christian people. ::roll eyes:: Doesn't take long before the husband finds out about his wifes sick obsession with dolls. In fact her dolls takes up an entire room.... WHAT?? Dude, you never noticed those before? What the hell did you guys do before you got married? ::shocked:: The Creepy Doll is much more a drama about relationships than an actual horror movie, with tons of long riveting conversations about relationships. Oh yea, the wife also keeps a creepy doll, but who gives a fuck, we wanna hear about relationships! ::danger::

You can safely skip this one.

Today i watched nu 1 about woman enter serial killer mind and get trapped. She find it has alternate reality and have to piece puzzle to get out. Kind of cool idea and okay execution for it and its budget.

A bit boring for me, predictable but pretty to look at, I kept looking at the clock too see how much time was left in the movie. Her robotty arms were creepy in one running sequence.

Silent House (2011)

I just felt like watching a random movie on Netflix today, so I chose Silent House. There's not much to say about it... it's reasonably intense and creepy throughout. My biggest problem is that the payoff is pretty bad and kinda confusing. I think this movie is sort of well-known because the whole thing is filmed in a single shot. That really added some good suspense to many scenes in the film. It's nothing great or anything memorable, but Silent House is a pretty good if you have 88 minutes to spare.

Not a horror flic, but reminded me of Tape(2001, directed by Richard Linklater) since its also in one take. Can be very unsettling.
Also made me think of Russian Ark. All in one take too. Fucking amazing to watch.

A similar concept with a bigger budget could've been good though.

It's actually been a while since I watched this. My high school buddies and I were fugging obsessed with this film (and it's sequels when they were finally released) at one point. I forgot how much I enjoyed them, but at the same time, never noticed how cheesy they were. They're a nostalgic favorite though so I guess I'm stuck with them.

They were all great, except for the 3rd one. Well the fourth was just decent. Sure there's cheese, but there were a lot of great things too.

But argh I know rite. I about fugging fangirled when I saw the sequel was coming out this year, and I do at least weekly searches to see when it's coming out, but I've seen nothing since they started allegedly started filming last year. I need my WolfCop fix. I can't keep re-reading Fleshmob. D8

Like I said, I still love them, but. Come on. It's like The Matrix and Van Helsing had a love child. If it wasn't so well written and put together there's no way it should have been taken seriously. I've watched those special features. I've seen what TLC they put into making these movies and how each effect was achieved, and not all through cheap and easy CGI. That shit is admirable considering how many people today take that easy way out to save money and braincells.
And by third do you mean the Prequel or the 3rd in the story? The one where she and Micheal apparently have a kid I lost interest in. The Prequel was actually really damn good. Like Romeo and Juliet if it was GOOD.

I was planing a Bates marathon to catch up for the season and now I'm considering rewatching it again myself xD

Wer... *googles* Ooooh yeah... I remember hearing of it when it was still in production, but I think it was called something else then? I don't remember. XD
But, no, I haven't yet. It's certainly on the list now though.
