Well I do agree...to an extent. But look at it this way, CGI has brought a lot of stuff to the screen that make-up and prosthetics could not. Yet somehow the scare-factor of the 70s and 80s still dominate...and are unmatched till now. So, its a bit of a head-tails situation.


Day of the Dead's brutal death leads 3-2 over Tenebre's infamous arm chop and hack death!

I agree, a cgi monster or death is yet to freak me out, but it is getting better in most movies, but when it is done cheaply it is rubbish, where as cheap prostetics are Fooking creepy.
