Ugh season two of Daredevil isn't near as much fun as season one was. Despite Punisher. ...actually he's part of why this is hard to watch. First four episodes were fun and now he's just on trial or behind bars and omg i'm so bored.

I think doing that to Animal Farm runs into that desecration crime area -- like changing the ending to the Bible, or The Holocuast... something nobody has any business doing. I consider Animal Farm a sacred book.

Gonna see Baskin at a film festival in a couple weeks. DeadBeat gave it a thumbs up, and reviews are looking good.

I think Angra meant, "Aren't you gay?" That's where all the changes come in, see?

Actually, it's a short story, "fairy tale", only 112 pages. I read it over a family vacation, zipped though it, as it's a fast read too, very enjoyable. A nice seemingly rare combo of short, important, famous, simple and enjoyable.

I could tell you how the two endings differ, if you really want, but I think this short story is up your alley. It'll be in every library, not to mention got to be free on the internet.

Repo'd 03-26-2016 01:56 PM

Sculpt, I think Angra can express himself without the help of the neighborhood know it all asshole. Save that shit. LOL!

For some weird reason she likes my music, so I'm composing. There will be candle light and a good meal, and I'm considering about 15 other things to take it out if the cliche realm.

You going to sing a little with it? You know she'd love that.

I'm not gonna read it as it's quite a cruel story. But I'd like to know the original ending.

Can't fault you for wanting to be sure. This is a decision you only want to make once so wanna make it right. She sounds great from what I hear. Anyone who'll watch horror movies with you can't be all bad. ::wink::

A case of the Mondays?

SerialKiller 03-28-2016 11:51 AM

I found & bought a pair of $2 red & white nikes at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago. I bought them specifically because they're almost identical to Forrest Gump's nikes. I wore them for the first time today. As soon as my mother saw them, I said "My names Forrest Gump, people call me Forrest Gump." She was not amused. Boss probably wouldn't be very amused either.::smile::

Play this coming Saturday at 6:00 P.M.
This is a cult classic from the 1970's I am sure some of you have seen this cheesy film but for those who have not should see it.
I can't really give you a review of it, but here is the trailer below.

Rated R For major cussing, violence and immaturity of the rogues gang leader.

This is an animated film from the 1970's.
It's about the war between technology and magic. Also has WWII as it's bases. I hope you will enjoy it. I hope it will make up for The Warriors film that I was wanting to run this Saturday.
Here's the trailer.

How book and film endings are different...

So the pigs lead the animals into taking over the farm from the farmer. Both end with the pigs becoming like the autocratic, cruel decadent farmer. The book highlights this fact, many years after the revolution, the pigs have other farmers come over to party with them, and they look and act the same as the farmers. Whereas the film has the oppressed animals busting in on the pigs and destroying them. What happens after the pigs are destroyed is not addressed. Per wiki, the CIA sponsored a party to buy the film rights, make the film and change the ending.
