SALVAGE 2006

A young girl is brutally murdered after being tricked into accepting a ride with a stranger. But the following day, she finds herself back in the store she works in like nothing had ever happened. This happens repeatedly, re-living her own murder until...

I really enjoyed it but was still confused.

What can I say... besides me almost falling asleep and being drawn to my phone while watching, it might have been one of the worst I've seen in a long time. The "horror" or "scary" elements were truly made for 6-year-olds and he wasted some good actors with this real life tragedy. Why do people have such a hard time making decent true crime movies? If you compare this to something like Zodiac or Extremly Wicked.... well, you can't even compare. Utter trash.

These guys made a funny video about the movie.

Midway (2019) 7/10 -- Directed by Roland Emmerich. Good special effects, chronologically presented and historically accurate. The characters and relationships are relatively weak, but there isn't much lingering, and the pacing moves along fairly briskly.

RINGERS (2005). In the same vein as TREKKIES, this focuses on fans of all things JRR Tolkien. Pretty good history of JRR writing THE HOBBIT for his children and how it all escalated from there, particularly in the 1960's. Testimonials from various actors, musicians and some of the most rabid fans I've ever seen, particularly in the closed booth towards the end. ***

I really like these kind of weird mystery flicks. The person who casted Jonathan Aris as the real estate agent is a genius. Too bad his character didn’t have more screen time, cuz he was hysterical.
