Found my New Nightmare on Elm Street review here. It's the second review:

Also Robert Englund's idea for a Nightmare on Elm Street reboot.

Not many commented on the topic I started for it. Perhaps I'm the only one that clicks "New Posts" when I check the forum.

Rock Paper Scissors, 2017. 8/10, 2019 VOD release.

Director Tom Holland

Thumb resize.

Most people will think this is crap but I'm not most people. I fucking love this. Yes some parts are bad but its a charming bad. Gore is good and the characters are mental! Love this, psychotics, masks, dolls, depravity...right up my alley. I hope to own this. It's out on VOD on several platforms. And Michael Madson is bloody awesome!

Same here. I watched the original when I was a kid and after the end, I didn't want to go to sleep or even leave my room. But I actually fell asleep during the remake the first time I watched it.

Just a bit of an off topic here. All the kids of the block got the VHS from the big brother of another friend of mine and got to see the movie. We were all terrified after it, but one of the group got even worse. He started dreaming Freddy was comming to get him.
Went to the village of his mother to do some folklore superstition to stop his dreams.

We didn't see him for a while after that.

Funny how kids mind work.

Same with Candyman.

I saw Candyman too late and I barely remember it. It was like in the last few years or so. But I'll see it again since there are sequels I think.

I believe I saw Nightmare on Elm Street originally on late night TV. I know for sure that I wasn't watching it on VHS as I had a Beta in my room.

DEATH WISH (2018). It won't be as iconic as the Bronson 1974 original, but not a bad reboot at all. Better and (dare I say it?) more mature direction by Eli Roth and Bruce Willis was badass in this! ***

”Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” 7/10

Last ten minutes were awsome, the first 2,5 hours were kinda.... meh.

For the first long period of time you just wait for some kind of story to unfold and in the end I guess it kinda did. A very little story told over 2 hours and 38 minutes.

That being said, I’m gonna see it again in a near future, just to make sure I get it all.

Chaplin (1992)

In my opinion, Robert Downey Jr.'s best performance.

So what sets off Bruce Willis? I hope it's not the same, home invasion, wife killed, daughter raped. I really wouldn't want to sit through that, but the rest of the film interests me.

Typically Tarantino's dialogue and the actors performances are the best part of the film. Thinking of Pulp Fiction. Didn't dig that in this?

I'd like to see this. Like to learn more about Chaplin. The only memorable performance for Downey I remember is from Back to School (a bit part where he was wearing a princely outfit) and Tropic Thunder.
