Yeah, Dylan McDermot. Lol. He doesn't have a huge role. The kid was excellent above all else. I love the story. I was honestly surprised when I stumbled across it in my Netflix, I hadn't heard of it and it had decent actors and a cool story line.

Dracula Untold -- 5/10; Some things are better left unsaid. Fortunately, it did have some visual flair here and there.

Cub (2014)
Not bad but didn't really care for it. Toy Story 2 (1999) Still ok to watch but it has aged a bit. Toy Story 3 (2010) Same as the above. The Hobbit 2 - Extended Cut (2013) About 3 hours long but it was alright. Didn't really bore me or anything. Haven't seen the regular cut so I can't compare. The Hobbit 3 (2014) Too long and not enough variation. Got boring fast. |
Spanking the Monkey -- 6/10; Great to see Bryan Cranston in his pre-Malcom days.
Chicken Chokers -- 1.5/10; The mise-en-scène here left something to be desired. |
|
Wolves -- 6.5/10; With dialogue like "Getting shot in the shoulder is like getting kicked in the jimmy, but it's your shoulder", it's hard to take these fashion-forward werewolves seriously. Nevertheless, the direction is quite good, and the action sequences are far above those of the typical horror film.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein -- 6/10; Competently directed, but De Niro is grossly miscast.
|
Tenderized Teens -- 5/10; It's a bit too salty for my taste, but different strokes, right?

Lurking Fear -- 3.5/10; Well, the ghouls look great.

The Last Exorcism. 4/10. It was a decent 6/10 until about the last 1/6 of the film. They could have cut that off and it would have been a much better flic. The ending was bad, especially the last few seconds. I'd say pass.

Mona Lisa Smile -- 4/10
Three in Lisa, Two in Sam -- 4.5/10 |
The Pyramid (2014)
Crap. They said it wasn't gonna be a found footage movie. But it is. Not in the literal meaning, but in general. Almost everything is from the angle of a character's camera. The scenes that aren't, are filmed a bit shaky to fit in with those that are. It would've been more enjoyable if everything was like a regular movie. But it wouldn't have mattered with a lame script like this. |
Treated [Short] -- 5/10

Midnight Musk -- 7/10; Stellar performances from a mostly unknown cast.

In the Mouth of Madness -- 10/10; Do you read Cutter Sane?

Dark Fields -- 3.5/10
Squeeze My Seeds -- 5/10 Squeeze My Seeds Again -- 4.5/10 Husk -- 7/10; A novel approach to the haunted field conceit. I do wish the action scenes had been shot cleaner. |
"The Pyramid" 4-5/10

Clown (2014)
Better than I expected and I hate clowns. Wouldn't mind a sequel. Top Five (2014) Only saw this because of Chris Rock but it wasn't really worth it. When the movie's done it says "co-produced by Jay-Z and Kanye West". If I knew that I wouldn't have watched it. |

ZOMBIE KILLERS ELEPHANT'S GRAVEYARD
You have your zombies..you have your environmental disaster...and you have your kool-aid drinkers. This little town of survivors is weird enough to make you jump the fence to get out!!. |
Hyena (2014)
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-STeVDqu4YZ...ena-poster.jpg Rally enjoyed this Brit crime movie about a corrupt cop whose life is spiriling out of control. |
Pet Sematary -- 10/10
Logs for Lincoln -- 5/10 Treevenge -- 7/10 Scat Pack 3 -- 0.5/10 |
