V stated as a general rule we're to vote on all parts of a series as one.... which to me, is kinda off... 30 years between Twilite Zones... each Star Trek is quite different from the others... BRING it, BOYS! ... In terms of Dexter... First, I don't think that Michael C. Hall is that talented an actor. I feel as though, with every episode he's struggling. That coupled with the fact that some of his personality does NOT fit the typical serial killer profile at all - I thought that he needed to be significantly darker than he was; more sexually deviant - I think I wanted to have more dynamism between he and his girlfriend. Also - All of the tertiary characters are awful; two-dimensional, painful to watch, and poorly acted. And the reveal of the first season was predictable and contrived. Maybe it gets better after that, but I was SORELY disappointed. P.S. SCTV IS fantastic, but I've only seen bits and pieces, not enough to truly vote on it as being amazing. |
