6-5, Charlotte's Web becomes the near-final addition to the Round 2 roster!

Plenty of fine films were eliminated through the course of this tournament, and this match concers the 5 eliminated films that I think are most worthy to move on to the next round. Post your vote the same as always, they will be accepted for 2 days. At that point I will tally the votes, and the film with the most moves on. Here are the films, in the order that they were eliminated [English title only]:

As much as I loved Sword and the Stone I HAVE to vote for Grave of the Fireflies. If you haven't seen it... watch it as it's one of the best animated stories you'll ever have a chance to see.

Despare- I actually havent got around to seeing Grave of the Fireflies yet. I'd really like to, but for some reason Blockbuster doesnt have it.

It was kind of an atrocity that Grave of the Fireflies got put out in the first round. I love Sword in the Stone and Beauty and the Beast...but it's got to be GotFF

It did lose to an incredible film though.

The Animatrix is more of a bunch of short films, while a couple were great, one or two were only so/so.

And not having Ninja Scroll kinda negates this entire tourney doesn't it? Since my bet is that Ninja Scroll could beat every movie in it. Hmm.... Maybe you can have Ninja Scroll take on the tourney winner or something...

Put simply, there were films that were more deserving of a spot. Now I wish I would have left out another, because it's a real shame that Ninja Scroll was neglected.

I have no problem with Animatrix being left off. For one, it is a compilation of short films, and second not all of them are good. As for Ninja Scroll, you can easily remedy your oversight by putting it on the wildcard list and start the voting process over for the wildcard portion. I kinda have to agree with the person who said that leaving Ninja Scroll off negates the whole tourney.

Ok, I'll do something similar due to the overwhelming response to my leaving out Ninja Scroll.

Grave of Fireflies has earned it's way to Round 2 and will move on, however I'm going to do something I really dont like to do. I will repost the Wild Card match, sans GoF and with Ninja Scroll. GoF moves on automatically, and whichever film wins the new Wild Card moves on, and will create a Three-Way match in Round 2.

I liked Ninja Scroll a lot (even the series (but Vampire Hunter D was better :P)), and B&B, but I have found memories of Sword in the Stone especially the magic battle.
