Hey man, I feel you on that one! Had a similar situation with my ‘07 Duramax hauling a boat uphill in the summer heat a couple years back—talk about stressful. GM Duramax 6.6L - Hot Side Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit (2001-2010) . It’s been rock solid for me ever since. Boost holds strong, and no more worrying about blowing pipes on those long hauls.
What sold me was how durable it is compared to the stock setup. I pushed it hard in 100-degree weather, towing a camper through desert roads, and it performed like a champ. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re looking to avoid future headaches. Keep us posted on what you go with!
